Michelle Schroeter—Office Manager

Michelle joined Rutherford Law Center in November of 2022 as Office Manager.  She loves to serve as the hub of a busy office, since her middle name is ‘Organizer’.  Supporting leadership as Office or Accounting Manager or as Administrative or Executive Assistant has been part of her career for 20+ years.  Michelle’s duties are client billing, in-firm accounting, establishing procedures and organizing processes, HR tasks, and general support “to keep everything in the flow”.   In her free time Michelle loves to hike, drum, meditate; she also enjoys creating various unique foods and drinks.

Fran Ditchen—Senior Paralegal

I am a Colorado native and started my career working with the DA’s Office. I served nearly ten years working in Criminal Law. Having worked on hundreds of Domestic Violence cases, I chose to change my career path to focus on helping with family matters. I strongly believe that in order to come to a resolution, we must listen to our clients and understand the issues as we help them through their cases.

Mary Albertoni—Paralegal

Mary is a proud Colorado native with generations of Colorado family behind her. She has a master’s degree from the University of Colorado-Denver in Business Administration. Her paralegal experience has been in corporate and non-profit law, personal injury, estate planning, and probate administration. She is married and has two grown children and a new daughter-in-law. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, crafting, photography, and volunteering for several organizations. She is delighted to be with such a supportive and passionate team helping clients every day.

Sarah Duff – Paralegal

Originally from Wisconsin, Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from Luther College (Decorah, IA) with a double major in History and Classics in 2011. She has always had an interest in the legal field – so after her undergraduate, she decided to pursue a career as a paralegal and earned her paralegal certificate from Georgetown University (Washington, DC) in 2013. Much of Sarah’s career has been in personal injury litigation and family law. She is excited to continue her career at Rutherford Law Center helping people navigate incredibly difficult situations and reach the other side. When not in the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs going on hikes, taking in a ball game or concert, baking, and making her husband sit through true crime documentaries with her.

Emma Albertoni – Client Liaison

Emma grew up in Arvada, graduating from the University of Denver in 2021 with a degree in Psychology. She is passionate about helping others, and as the Client Liaison at the Rutherford Law Center, she desires to provide every client with the best experience possible. Her favorite part of her job is talking with new clients because she enjoys being able to connect them to capable professionals to help them through the difficult situations they may be experiencing. In her free time, she volunteers through her Church and enjoys creating art, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with her two cats.
